The Brookings Media Console offers ability to change the appearance and functionality of the unit with three interchangeable sets of door panels. The glass door panels provide an open, contemporary appearance to the classic transitional-style cabinetry while the wood inserts show off more lend a more traditional appearance. If you use accessory speakers with their flat-screen TV but want an uncluttered appearance, the speaker fabric insert allows you to conceal the speakers within the storage cabinet without sacrificing any of the sound. Brushed nickel door hardware and raised base with decorative leg complete the cabinet syle. The inclusion of a patented Dimplex fireplace is what really sets the Brookings apart though, adding a new dimension in home entertainment.
Dimplex electric fireplaces are capable of taking the chill off a room with their fan-forced electric heaters and built-in automatic thermostats.
